Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GrowGrid, a product of Ecropolis LLC ("we", "us"), handles information collected through growgrid.io. It covers this marketing website only. Use of the GrowGrid application is governed by the agreement in place with your organization.

Information we collect

This website is a static, brochure-style site. We collect very little:

• The demo request form. If you use the form on this site we receive the name, organization, email address, optional phone number, and description of your operation that you enter. The form is operated for us by Ecropolis's shared form service, which relays the message to our inbox and keeps a copy for 180 days before deleting it automatically. It uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than a bot — Turnstile is a privacy-preserving alternative to a CAPTCHA and does not track you across sites.
• Information you email us. If you email us instead, we receive whatever you choose to include.
• Technical request data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard server information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request, in order to serve and protect the site.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use cookies to profile visitors across other websites.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are useful. Which rules apply depends on where you appear to be:

• If you appear to be in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, nothing is requested from Google and no analytics cookies are set until you choose Accept. Decline, or simply ignore the banner, and no Google script is downloaded at all — we do not even request the tag container, so nothing about your visit reaches Google.
• Everywhere else, analytics start on your first page view and the banner invites you to opt out. If you Decline, we stop analytics, switch off Google Analytics for this site, and delete the analytics cookies that were already set. One page view will have been counted before you clicked; nothing after it is.
• Either way we enable analytics storage only — advertising and personalization storage stay switched off, so no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. We store a single local flag in your browser to remember your choice and stop asking.

We work out which of those applies from your browser's own time-zone setting. That is a rough guess and it can be wrong — a VPN or a trip abroad will fool it. We deliberately do not use the Geolocation API (which would prompt you) or an IP address lookup, and if the time zone cannot be read we apply the stricter, consent-first rules.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Declining after previously accepting withdraws consent immediately.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, arrange a product walkthrough.
• To keep the website secure, available, and working correctly.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages and content are useful.

We use the information you send us to contact you about GrowGrid. We will not add you to unrelated marketing lists without your consent, and every message we send includes a way to opt out.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate the site and communicate with you. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, network security, and the Turnstile bot check on the demo request form.
• Twilio SendGrid — email delivery.
• Google LLC — website traffic analytics (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager), subject to the cookie choices described above.

This covers the growgrid.io website only. The GrowGrid application loads no analytics and no advertising scripts.

Data retention

Form submissions are deleted from the form service automatically 180 days after they are received. We keep inquiry correspondence in our own inbox for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and then delete it. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard, short retention schedule.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have sent us, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@growgrid.io and we will act on your request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honor those rights regardless of your location.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and organizations. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and the website evolve. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
